I don’t have much time at all… like most of you at the moment I guess. Papers, presentations and exams are stealing all my time from me. That’s why this post is ultra-short. And the recipe is one for a healthy snack which is easy as hell: Apple Chips.
2 large apples
2 tablespoons of sugar (optional if you use sweet apples)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Thinly slice apples 2mm thick with a sharp knife (or a mandolin slicer). Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on baking sheet.
If you use sugar, combine it with cinnamon in a small bowl. Put mixture into a sieve and sprinkle it evenly over the apple slices.
Bake in the top third of the preheated (200° degrees) oven until the apples are dry and crisp. Mine took almost 2 hours… Remove from oven and let cool. And eat while you’re studying 🙂
